Hi Again Barry

One further thought on the bulkhead problem... it is possible that the chassis may be bent.  Are the door gaps even and how well does the bonnet fit?  Try putting a long straight edge along the chassis rails to check.

You could try putting spacers under the front floor pan bolts this would have the effect of counteracting any chassis bend as far as the bodywork is concerned.
