Thanks so much for all the useful advice and info. I guess I should explain why I'm looking to fit one. I want a very early 'look' to the underbonnet area and so I've got the manifolding and carb (Zenith 24T) for an updraught system but I expect it will preclude the use of the AC mechanical pump. For the same reason I don't want to see or hear an electric pump under the bonnet. Ideally I'd have a small, quiet low pressure inline pump halfway along the chassis or at the rear tank. The cheapos look ideal but .......?
Sadly I've a bit of a thing about SUs as I've suffered from them over the years (including being trapped in a crashed Mini listening to the joyful ticking of its pump) but one of the Fuelflow pumps could be a contender. Which one fits at the tank and would its pressure be low enough?
