First off work out what you want to do with your Seven. Bert Hadley hill climbs, 750 Club racing or VSCC events and ensure that your dream fits the rules. You wouldn't believe how many people feel the world is against them when they didn't read the eligibility rule book first.
A single seater may be attractive but it's a whole lot harder to get set up and running well when you can't take it on the road for a blast.
Blown cars are really great fun but as almost everyone has said, start unblown. If you know where you want to end up competition wise it may alter what you start with. As an example if you want to end up with a Cozette blown VSCC type car start with a magneto engine - it'll make the upgrade to blown easier.
