Stiction free discs

I met a chap on last year's PWA7 Club Cumbria run at the Netherwood Hotel in the Lake District whose day job was suspension design and who was experimenting with a stiction free material that he reckoned would be ideal  for seven shock absorbers. He was hoping to market it fairly soon after we met.  I regret I cannot recall his name, but the run is organised by Malcolm Parker, who may recognise my description. If it jogs anybody else's memory, he and his wife were waiting for a friend to come and collect their car with a trailer as it had suffered some catastrophe on the run.
