Vacuum Wiper - How to connect to inlet manifold, where to put the vacuum pipe
#58
Hello again,
after about 10 days the leather seals arrived (CP 630 Pump Leather, www.base-camp.co.uk) and I have taken some photos to give you an impression. The outer diameter is perfect. The seals fit into the tubes and can be moved. No gap. The height and the inner diameter are the two things that slightly worry me. The smaller inner diameter means that the metal washer inside the original seal (bigger) would press the new seal apart and therefore widen the seal. I think a smaller one has to be made... should not be a real problem. The height could cause some trouble, simply because it might collide with the oscillating valve assembly. We will see. I will keep you updated.
Regards
Frank
