The list appears comprehensive but very few approach the extensive type of test which appeared in motor magazines in the 1950s and after, and the observations are very non critical.(1935 "The braking power is about the same as that of previous models"!) I have the two Broooklands publications; Austin Seven in the Thirties and Austin Seven Cars 1930-35. Are there more?
Whilst many now claim 50mph as quite normal many models did not acheive (or approach!) this. For anyone who has access to the lot a summary would be of interest. Many reviews are very limited so it would not be a huge task.
