Maybe you'll need a completely new cable with a connector already attached. Even then, some fiddling with the attachment point and the various dimensions at the distributor end will be required - it's always a puzzle when trying to get non-standard parts to work. The spade connector system looks to be a far more robust solution than a cable with its end ground square and fitting into a square socket.
