It is all straight from an iPhone with no post-production meddling, not even a crop or asking the camera to enhance anything! It is amazing how well photographs in difficult lighting conditions now turn out at the press of a button—ones that years ago would have taken much time and trouble to get right.
Although some elements of Photoshop are rather complicated, many of the 'Auto settings' work very well. The image on the right is adjusted to automatically balance shadows and highlights. Click the image for a higher-resolution copy.
