After my inversion at Harewood in September, the Ulster has come in for some bodywork repairs that I've now finished. I've painted it as well. However, as part of the latter I decided, at last, that the bonnet should be painted in body colour rather than the bare aluminium it's been for the last 12 years. Those that know me and my cars will understand that painting a bonnet is something that's a bit alien to me so this was quite a big step. Final coat went on yesterday but this morning drying hadn't occured to any great extent. Understandable given the weather at the moment. What was really needed was for it to be in a warmer environment so, whilst Mrs. J was out early afternoon, I transferred it into our back Sitting Room. She's back now and hasn't made any particular adverse comment
