Thanks for the inputs, taking Chris's advice I will start to enquire for a Circa '34 crankcase and build up a replacement engine using the spare block that i already have, whilst the current one still does smokey service. I fear if i disable that one to rebuild, I'll be a long while in getting a driveable car again. So if anyone has or knows of a suitable crankcase, I'll be pleased to hear from them
