The lever operating the vents should be at the top or you won’t be able to reach it and if the vent opens at the front you’ll be blown out of the window. So vent opens to the rear and lever to the top.
If the bonnet rubber is the same as the RK it stops at the top of the flitch plate. I believe there should be a small bolt holding the end of the rubber with wire ties securing the rest.
These are just my observations, others may contradict!
