Just to confuse the issue, I thought that all three bearing engines were, by definition, low frame configuration. Before we moved the Bristol Club spares last year, we went through all the crankcases in the spares shed and found just one example of a high frame, three bearing case. Possibly military or a late 1936 Van? It carries a different part number to the "ordinary" three bearing case, as well as having the differing dimensions.
