While many mid-1930 saloons are shown with plain bonnet sides, we still await a contemporary picture of the open version, the AF so fitted. The first AFs had the louvres in two separate depressions (like mine), but later ones had them in a single depression. The 'double-depression' versions are rare, so this feature must have lasted only a short time. Good work for the press-tool makers though - as there were also two different bonnet lengths. I agree with Mike, the 'peak' looks more like an aftermarket framed glass sunshade. The car must have been driven through an accessory shop, and one of everything A7 related stuck.
