Check the thickness of the existing glass - laminate will probably be thicker (6mm) than original & therefore heavier, and get this cut by your local glazier in the closest metric size (probably 5mm) and then have the glazier toughen this.
Use your existing passenger door glass as a template and the glazier will copy this exactly.
Existing original un-toughened glass can be successfully put through the heat-treatment process, a decent glazier will template the glass first just in case it fails during the process. I had several original panes of glass toughened without damage.
