Rear Springs - packing plates

Dave, if you have 5/16" Gap then the incorrect springs are fitted to your chassis. If your car is a special this information is irrelevant as it will weigh a lot less than a saloon or tourer so will consequently need lighter rated springs, in which case simply fit a packer to take up the gap, this can made from mild steel. If its an original car then you may need a new set of springs from the likes of Mr Dunford.
