Thank you for posting this Nick, I saw it reviewed in Classic & Sportscar a couple of years ago and was disappointed that the nearest cinema showing was about 400 miles from here!

Did a bit of googling and while I haven't actually watched them yet,
Here is an interview on YouTube https://youtu.be/E_FUB3S6dSA?si=CaS4j7W3o_MMxKh- and it is on the TUBI app. (which is both free and legit) https://tubitv.com/movies/654487/romantic-road

As did I.
The movie arguably concentrates more or less in equal parts on the car, the location, and the couple's relationship. This latter point really meant a lot to me actually. My dear friend accompanying me on my journey (four days away now!) will be a slightly inadequate substitute for my late wife, but it will be a blast reliving our years of traveling there together some decades ago. We're older now, but only a little wiser! Roll(s) on India!
Cheers, Geoffrey

I watched the film this evening and enjoyed it very much - thanks for the tip Nick.
It may interest others here to learn that Rupert & Jan married in 1977 and spent their honeymoon "exploring Europe in a 1936 convertible Austin Seven"...
