Yes it was. When he bought it the front tyres were from a tractor with criss-cross slots cut in the grooves round the circumference. He was following me down the A1 and seemed to be driving erratically. We came off the A1 at Huntingdon and he stopped just before we got into Godmanchester. One of the tractor tyres had given up on the A1 and George didn't notice at first. We only realised what they were once we had stopped. Neary 400 miles cruising and proved too much for the tyres.

Yesterday was a thunderstorm and a half and a bit of a shock to some new bees who came to live with us from a beekeeper down in more sheltered parts.
But the wind is blowing today in Northumberland and the sun is out, hopefully blowing your way to brighten those skies.
I can picture many a family where teenagers would be throwing a serious strop by now and demanding a lounger by a beach.
