Unfortunately I think Alf Depper was wrong; there is no way the first prototype could have been completed by mid-April. I suspect Alf had remembered that it was running by the beginning of a Bank Holiday weekend, but that weekend was Whitsun, not Easter.

This is a most interesting series of opinions. I imagine the day thus: Herbert's two daughters (and possibly Herbert) are taken by Austin 20 to a series of suitable locations. The Seven, driven by an employee, follows in their dust and a series of pictures are taken in various locations by a professional photographer - or perhaps one from the company's publicity department. Many pictures will have been discarded as unsuitable and, over the years, others lost. Perhaps the daughters also drove the car, followed by the man with the camera - but we shall never know for sure.
