Hi has anyone used the repair plate for the outlet on the side of the engine block gallery.   Can it be done with the block still in place and how does a water tight seal made between the plate and the block as I need to fit one.  Advice would be welcome pic attached

See water branch repair BA7C technical page it is best done with the block removed for drilling and tapping and cutting out cracked fixing lugs with angle grinder. Terry.
