Well either off a bed frame if the hole is threaded possibly used on the body?? Or you have three too many of the bits which go into the front brake mechanism off the cross shaft which is for the front brakes....

Beat me to it Chris, brake pins or barrels whatever is the correct term through which the threaded shaft passes. Any anorak still not yet in the workshop might be amazed about how the forumist was allowed to bring them into the kitchen, or maybe the bathroom, and photograph the bits close to a gleaming clean white towel.

I always drill out the thread on this item then just add a wing-nut to the back. Makes instant brake adjustment so much easier.
