Coleman's Drive book
#1
Hi all,
I've had a copy of this marvelous book for many years now but mine is the "SHORTER VERSION".

I've noticed that another version of the book was reprinted in the 90's and was wondering if anyone can confirm if this is the longer unabridged version ?

If it is, I'll attempt to obtain a copy of this as I'd like to read the whole story, not the edited one.

Thanks for your input,
Stephen

I have several different editionsĀ and can confirm that the second one you show is as full as any other version I have.

The dust jacket of my 1962 First Edition is as the second one you show. It has 260 pages.

I have that one, signed by JC, at the first A7 Rally at Beaulieu

As Steve says - the full version is 260 pages (original and reprint).

There is another(later) publication entitled "Coleman's Cars" - this gave me background to how the Chummy was bought, which I found very interesting, buy both, if you can.

I also like "Seven Years with Samantha" and "Alexa" - travel stories appeal to me. I have a lot of John Coleman's original slides on file, will try upload a few at a time.
