Stop mucking about with those dreary Ulster things. This is what you need - the nose of a Blenheim bomber. From bomber to car - and back to being a bomber again.

Did they have 2 goes at making the centre line, clearly one before and one after they had been to the pub

Very interesting. Thanks for posting it Tony.

I wonder if it ever had a dogfight off the lights with a Messerschmit KR200?

DVLA shows that it may still exist. A 1949 Nilson electric vehicle? Presumably DVLAs typo.

Andy, it's a front drop down slide window, as can be seen in the picture on a flat bed truck.
Thank you Tony for sharing, all part of the rich tapestry of Austin 7 specials.

Here's another photo of it on Twitter - is it perhaps based on a Big 7 as the front wheels appear to be easiclean rather than wires? The front bumpers look to be chopped and re-profiled 1935 to 38 Morris 8.

For those unfamiliar with the history of the only flying Blenheim and the extraordinary story of its build and disasters, this is well worth a read. There's some superb air to air photography too.

The text mentions the A7 connection - the use of a chassis...
