I really appreciate all the comments and enthusiasm for the project - but also the number of unusual cars posted in the thread. Having been around Austin Sevens for 40-plus years I'm amazed at how many types I haven't seen before!

All extra bits removed from the chassis and now ready for cross shaft to be fitted along with new bushes and felt seals.

   

Stripping the back axle revealed some half shaft issues...

i recon austin produced them that way Huh

i must have opened 100 axles were one halfshaft is cracked and the other has a lump out Huh
