Hopefully your chuckle for the day (from another forum with a slightly greater penchant for errr 'modifications' )

im not against it, if its done properly that is.
in saying that, if you are putting the rear lights on the wings. why wouldnt you do the same with the indicators. of course you wouldnt? the thing to do is put the ugliest pair on stalks you could find, and mount them behind the wheels to catch as much dirt as possible.

Hi Tony
And you would find somewhere better for the fog light! That said it’s a good use of spare bodies left over from Ulster rep car breakers . I quite like hot rods I did unmentionable things to a split screen minor many many years ago . Cheers Howard

By the amount of uster, s being built
There's alot of spare bodys going !
My problem I ask questions that other people don't like?
Like have you got that for an investment or for fun?

hi howard,
i thought better of pointing out the fog light as well as the indicators. people night think i was picking on it apart from the poor choice of eclectrickery, i quite like the idea. afterall isnt it just another special. tony

Vivre pour vivre!
All part of the wider 'old car' scene we need to keep alive.

Tony it maybe another special but from the width of those tyres I doubt it has a 750cc Austin Seven engine in it. Something with a lot more power. That leads to different transmission back axle and with thar power different Brakes. That just leaves a modified Ruby body shell. Having said all that I like it and much thought must have gone into the making of it. If it has an engine that the gearbox was not designed for much thought has to go int making adapter plates.
John Mason.
Would you believe it "Her who must be obeyed" refers to my Ruby as the toy.
