I am intrigued by the Banner above 'The Autocar which reads: "Famous Firm Standardises Diesel Saloon". Was that the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz 230D I wonder?

The picture is not flattering. The real 1937 model is nicely proportioned, a style not immediately identifiable in others, and in my view superior the earlier Ruby and several of the early models.

Good plan to put up in the garage, although I have already starting printing and putting up in our study. Putting them on A3 MDF boards which are the fixed to the wall with command strips (velcro) so they can be taken off and moved around. Although it looks like some old movie posters are starting to appear in the display. The joys of lock down and finding things to do and using up stuff..... |
