Hello People
Engine is running very rich and looking back at the forum 57 and 50 quoted.
Had a look at the Burlen site but can’t see them listed.
Would you good people recommend a supplier.
Regards

There's a good chance Steve Hodgson can help; try emailing him  stevehodgo@hotmail.co.uk
or call  07813117474  How do you stop a pasted link extending the underline?

If you don't want to wait solder up the hole and redrill the size you want, or carefully peen around the hole and redrill, or if you have a clockmakers tapered reamer use that.

Surely someone local can post him some jets. There must be myriads unused. Always the chance someone has reamed. The taper shaft of a safety pin or needle can be used as a gauge. Note that one end of aperture often smaller than the other. Unless been drilled, the jets unlikely to be the problem. .57 and .50 mm

Many thanks Robert I will follow that up.
I have quite a few pieces in my Ruby you kindly provided.
Sorry can’t help with your pasted query.

Thanks for all the replies
Main jet is difficult to read but looks like 60 ??
Going to try lower petrol level in float chamber.

On further inspection the slow running jet is massively oversize.
Probably drilled out for some reason?
Should be ok for the main and compensating jets.
But can’t see a slow running jet listed.

If I need to make one any idea what the thread is in the carburettor?
Regards to all

Hi you might have a non standard bowl fitted which could explain the jet difference, the bowl was fitted to many cars.
