You are quite right. It is Margaret Allen in a Bentley.

More on Kaye from Bill-
"KAYE PETRE. A little more on the lovely lady if I may. (from right to left) One shot shows her with Joan Richmond preparing a Riley for a Rally, the second with her at the wheel of the Auto Union at East London, the last perhaps proves that she wasn't as short as many claimed? (Kaye next to the ERA wheel, with the famous Siamese Prince). This taken 6 months after her crash in the side-valve single-seater. May be of interest. Cheers, Bill in Oz"

Lovely pictures Bill, thanks for sharing them.
Came across another with Kaye and the Brooklands Riley, the photo is dated 1933. WG99 survives and is in regular competition use in speed events with the VSCC. Also while we are at it, another bit of video, from the 1935 August Bank Holiday meeting. with Kay Taking the ladies lap record in the V12 Delage, keep watching as there is also Pat Driscoll in the white sidevalve, and Goodacre in the development ulster, with Driscoll winning the Siam Trophy Race.

Thanks Tim - particularly for the video, which I'll attempt to transfer to a stick for use on my home computer. Cheers, Bill in Oz

I like the photo with the girls and the Brooklands Riley.
WG is a Stirlingshire number and interestingly I worked in Stirling at one point, had a half share in a Riley Special( sadly lost that though) but was once taken to A lock up in Stirling where there was a barn find real Brooklands Riley, which a scoundrel bought cheaply from the old owner and Then resold a few months later for 3 x the purchase price. I used to have WG3336 from a Nippy wreck which someone has raised from the dead I believe. Wish I had them now!!! Regards Bill G

Just browsing through early A7CA Magazines- the centre spread of 2001A has that great picture of Kay in the side valve.
Lovely!

The same thing normally happens to me and my Grandson as well. The Riley's owner and I have both had to come to accept the situation Steve
