The earliest car by some way was this 1899 Benz Velo, the owner was running the engine for a while in the afternoon and I took the oportunity to grab a bit of video to go with the photos I took.
1914 Singer 10 2 Seat Tourer 1914 Cadillac Model 30 Sedan 1923 Willys Knight 64 'Country Club' Phaeton 1924 Humber 8-18 2 Seat Tourer, (the 4 seat version of which also bears the distinction of being known as a 'Chummy') 1926 Frazer Nash Super Sports James' 1927 Singer Junior Tourer. 1935 Alvis Speed 20 Saloon 1935 Armstrong Siddeley 12 Plus Saloon And some of the other bits and pieces, an interesting 30's bus. 1939 Leyland Harrington Observation Coach ..and Motorcycles 1909 FN Lightweight 250CC with shaft drive 1911 Douglas 2.5HP 350CC And these 2 gentlemen were busy comparing their 1929 Scott 'Flying Squirrel' 500s

Last batch...
In with the stationary engines was this wonderful contraption. A household fan from the late 1800s, driven by self contained Stirling engine. One of my favourite areas of the museum, is the machine shop... To finish, the video as promised showing some of the moving exhibits, and many of the cars on their way out of the museum at the end of the day.

Just watching my video back, and there are 2 sevens on there that I somehow missed when I was taking my photos, so 17 sevens.

Looks to have been a fantastic day out at a fabulous museum! This is something miss about the UK the Brits do this so well.
