As with lots of things on PWC it's not very well researched or written.
Would love to see someone do a recreation of it though.

Agree Duncan, they still had a fair bit to learn about aerodynamic drag back then.
Love the body though - I can only guess it must have had a very loud exhaust to carry off that 'LSR' look.
