If you treat the winscreen with Rainex the rain forms balls on the glass and runs off. So long as the car is moving the wiper isn't needed. Also the passenger can see where they're going. Wiper only needed when stationary or moving slowly.

Reckers, Why do you think I refer to my dearest as “Her who must be obeyed.
John Mason.
Would you believe it "Her who must be obeyed" refers to my Ruby as the toy.

At around 4pm I shall be intercepting Denis and Vicky Sweeney at the Devon/Cornwall Border near Holsworthy, and escorting him in the RP to his hotel in Bude.
Tomorrow will be the last leg of his epic trip to Lands End, and I shall be supporting him westwards down county to meet other members of the Cornwall A7C.
Anyone in the Holsworthy area who cares to meet up at 4pm will be very welcome.
Despite having to do it in his modern, having been messed about by his Ruby, he has persevered to raise money for a very worthy cause, and still has a few days to go before he reaches the welcome comfort of his home.

Celebrating the Chummy's 99th birthday today, unfortunately not by taking it for a drive (it's a bit poorly after >500 miles going to Wales & back last month).
