Strange Request
#1
A friend has a rather posh vintage Aston Martin. (Yes, I really do know people like that) a couple of years ago, in an attempt to cure an overheating problem we fitted a fan off a mag engined Chummy. It has worked but not completely, so we were wondering if a 4 bladed fan might fix it. Question is, were such things ever available and if they were, where might I get one?

No, they do one for coil engines. It rotates the other way.

The Austin 12 has an aluminium 4 bladeĀ  fan which when viewed from the front rotates clockwise to pull in air.
This from a 1937 parts list

I guess you've seen A7 Components does list one in their catalogue - showing as OOS though.
