Info required...thread size flywheel top cover

Can someone tell me the thread size of the two set screws that hold down the top cover that fits on back end of engine, covering the flywheel/starter ring.
Mine have stripped and I need to helicoil, so need to be certain of thread size used.

On our 1929 engine it's 5/16 BSW

A good rule of thumb as that if it is soft metal such as alloy or cast then a course thread such as Whitworth is used.
