Hi Chaps Im in the process of replacing a crown wheel and pinion on a 34 rp box and have got the pinion out of the torque tube but unsure how to remove the thrust bearings. i cant find anywhere on line how to remove them. i didnt want to hammer the pinion off them and damage them. Can someone guide me please.

Undo and remove the nut and tab washer. The two AC thrusts, ball (or roller) bearing and spacer should all slide off Maybe need a light tap.....

And remember that the nut might be LH thread.
