My brother's Chummy has a small number of fasteners fitted on the ali moulding and also a couple squeezed in between the windscreen frame and the up-stand at the top of the dashboard. It works very well and he often leaves the rear part in place (with the remainder stowed behind the front seats) to cover any luggage.

Hi Nick,
Dad's Chummy uses the method suggested by Squeak. There is a rectangular channel sewn in to the front of the tonneau, which fits onto the lower part of the split screen. Press studs around the top of the body 'rim'. Not sure how many extra holes are used, but it works really well. I'm sure Dad would love to show you in person.
Regards,
Colin
