Thanks - this quotes 7" and 4 1/2" for 17" wheels and the same diagram as the Source book Appendix showing this being for the 'straight' length. So this ties up, but not sure why Peter Richards is asking for an Overall Length as in the picture? However, I have scaled the overall length from the diagrams - it adds 1/4" to each - and sent him those dimensions instead.

There seems to be only size quoted for the longer spokes for the 17" wheels, despite the staggered location of the holes around the hub to cater for the spokes crossing over.

Peter Richards has now kindly confirmed the correct 17" wheel spoke dimensions:

Overall spoke length 7 1/4" and 4 3/4"

The length quoted in Austin literature is for the straight length of the spoke only - so 1/4" less at 7" and 4 1/2".
