Quite a bit of tuning to do, the timing is tricky as the original distributor is missing and replacements do not exist. It's running on a custom made trigger mechanism with a Lucas Rita electronic ignition module from a Moto Guzzi. The Amals are ancient so it's hard to get a tickover to start tuning from...I now know that it runs and will get service kits for the carbs but they may be so worn that it could be cheaper to replace them.
Yes, Hotchkiss designers were involved with the BSA trike Vee twin, hence the fixed heads and aero look
