AH tourer interior
#1
Sorry to be boring, but on the old site there was a thread which I cannot now find, and someone in Wales said he had trim samples which showed how the interior should look on a tourer AH or (so called) AJ.  I would like to get in contact unless anyone else can help me on the main area - what does the door look like?  Is it like an RP with carpet and pockets, or is it plain?

Page 49 of Rinsey Mills shows door cards on a 1930 AE Tourer which look the same as my 1933 AJ ie plain.

I have found photos of two restorations each showing a large deep elasticated pocket on each door card. On re-visiting Purves book I see that on p356 he shows the interior of what appears to be an original 1932 AH with the same pockets. It has rubber moulded floor mats and not a piece of carpet to be seen. Seems reasonable as it was a low priced Seven compared with an RP.

I have it in the back of my mind that all LWB cars had rubber mats originally - and SWB had carpet.
