Hi I bet that took some polishing! I’m not to far from Lynton so may pop over to have a look although I’m not sure my special will be ready by then. I hadn’t thought about brushing I may have a go on a panel to see what it looks like!

I agree with Ruairidh, I have used ScotchBrite in two grades, dark and light grey on all the cars I've built. It sets them up for some nice patination. However if you want a rod for your own back SolvolAutosol is the business.
Unfortunately I can't recommend a supplier for the elbow grease you will need...
(A palm sander may help with the ScotchBrite)
