Hi David
Things are beginning to move and I've received some interest so I'll keep plugging away at it and see what happens. I might have the very nice problem of arranging somewhere central for us all to meet.

Kinmal Park Army Camp closed circa 1965. As an Army Cadet in Colwyn Bay mid 1950s, we had various training sessions there. It is currently an industrial estate. Hotpoint moved their main production factory there from Llandudno Junction circa 1970s. Hotpoint now closed.

Now there is a name from my past- we used to have Hotpoint electrical goods- jugs toasters etcetera - way back when goods like this were brought in from UK - or even made locally and they lasted and could be repaired !
Tell that to the young ones now and they won't believe you
