Another two at Don Rowarth's, taken 1967.  I think the carpet was there to protect the engine from the Peak's inclement weather.  One of several Austin 7s, but I don't remember any noteworthy examples,  certainly no 2-seat coachbuilt bodies!

Great pictures from the past - I'm surprised they've survived. Yes, all the Sevens were very ordinary; we should all have been a lot younger when more tasty examples might have been around. I think that's why Mike was moved to draw the ideal, dream-land find. Sadly, it never happened.
