[attachment=6820]just a curiousity...the headlamp lenses on my '35 Austin Pearl are a bubbly surface.  Anyone know why that might be?  Perhaps to diffuse light during WWII?

In a previous existence I had some Runway lamps with that sort of glass. ......
The shell looks a bit like an ex-MOD Butler Something might appear under the paint
