A pal of mine is touring NZ at the moment and called in at a Vintage Machinery Museum at Te Anau on the South Island. There he found a MkII Ruby that belonged to a local teacher who sadly died before completing the restoration. A group is trying to finish it but they know nothing about Austin 7s. Is it possible that one of our NZ contingent might be able to get in touch and offer some help? I'm waiting for thier email address to arrive from my pal and will pass that on to anyone who feels able to help...

My pal has provided me with a little more information now. The car is at the Fiordland Museum in Te Anau and I now have a contact email for the chap running the project. I'm still hopeful that one of our New Zealand chums will be able to help. Drop me a PM if you would like the contact details...
