Would anyone be able to put a date to a registration number? A friend of mine is trying to trace the origins of a British-registered Bantam (London I believe) FUV 63.
Peter.

Do you know when it was first registered in the UK? It will show on the V5C

Thank you both, that's very helpful.
It no longer exists Edgar - just photos and some non-standard features which are causing some head scratching ... and yes, right hand drive. Peter.

Hi Edgar,
The photos have been included in this month's AABC club news by their editor Cathy Cunningham. Cathy doesn't think it is a British built car (yes there was such a thing!) but it has different trim details to an American built one. They are very protective of their magazine copy-write I'm afraid. I am corresponding with her so will let you know if she finds out any more. Peter. |
