Brooklands record breaker - an O.E.C-Temple supercharged 500cc Austin 7-engined motorcycle. No longer in existence, it was dismantled before being finished but a replica (from original photographs) is being built by Devos Hans of HD-Classic in Belgium; he hopes to have it ready for Beaulieu. Those clever OEC front forks will be perfect for a speed record attempt, you could ride the original bike hands off with ease, so stability shouldn’t be an issue…what a fantastic project!
