can anyone post a drawing/photo with comprehensive sizes?  All handbrakes  (eg 40s, 50s. 60s cars) have pawls in them so may be possible to get one that only needs a small amount of grinding modifying to shape.  Autojumble/car boot sale etc should turn up many old handbrakes.
Good idea to say what area you are in.....I for example have several old handbrakes you could look at.
