That looks to be a fine example, Hector. Is it left-hand drive?

Chassis number 279838 left the Longbridge factory in late October 1937; if it was exported direct to the States it probably arrived in mid-December. The AAL prefix identifies the body style, in this case an Open Road Tourer. There are no surviving build records from this time to identify the exact specification but your photo shows an authentic-looking example.
