Hi all

It might be obvious to some, but what do the numbers 1 and number 2 relate to on my Ruby light switch ?

Thanks

I assume it is a 4 position switch, which has probably been changed. The first position is probably low charge rate, 2 is full charge, and the lighting positions are self evident. 1 & 2 would origianlly have been Summer and Winter. With no compensation of the charge rate depending on the state of the battery the driver has to make his own judgement of what is appropriate.

Position 1, or summer on the original switch would give you a running charge rate of about 1amp. Position 2, or winter should show no more than 8amp, with the 3rd brush correctly adjusted. Side ans hear are self explanatory. Don"'t expect a positive charge with headlamps on.
