Hi again,
I have just done a few measurements from my car and a mocked up engine.
When the engine is fitted and in place I have 1/2" clearance between the block and the bulkhead.
From the front of the deep sump to the bell housing stud end in a horizontal plane 16"
From the front of the sump to an upper bell housing stud 19 1/2" at an angle.
From the chassis nose inside to bulkhead 16 1/4 "
So its is a very tight squeeze with a fully assembled engine but if you protect the bulkhead from damage its just possible.
