Floor coverings

I need to put some sort of mat on the floors of my cars & am trying to find simple ribbed rubber matting that I can possibly cut to shape (there doesn't seem to be anything around for Chummys & other short chassis cars).
I am not keen on carpet for open cars although originally they seem to have had a sort of open weave matting (?)
Any advice please?

Have used ribbed matting from both Woolies and Vintage Supplies on all my cars for years.

I used this. At 6 mm thick it has a bit of weight to it and I think it has helped dampen some of the sound. Found it quite easy to cut.
