1932 Austin7 RP rear spring "Rebound " Rubber
#1
Hi, Whilst grovelling under the back of the RP, I have just noticed What I will describe as a Rebound Rubber Block attached to the chassis directly over the Rear Axle.  One of them is missing.
Can anyone advise what the purpose of this is,(probably obvious from my description), what is the correct description and are they still obtainable. ?

Rubber "Bump Stops" is how I have always described them - I think you know the purpose. When the spring(s) travel beyond their normal limit, these Bump Stops prevent the axle and or the tyre hitting the bodywork.

Thank you all for your replies.  I will now purchase 2 and replace the 1 that is still there.
